About

Me on the tarmac of Legazpi Airport. I wasn't Ninoy'd, praise the heavens.
I’m Dean Lozarie and I’m responsible for everything you will find in this blog.
I am a high school student in the Philippines. I am the present editor-in-chief of The Narra, my school’s English publication. I’ve gone to four regional level school press conferences and three national-level schools press conferences—the 2006 NSPC in Kalibo, Aklan, the NSPC 2009 in Naga City, Camarines Sur, and the 2010 NSPC in Tagum City, Davao del Norte.
I’m also a bit of a tech aficionado. I own a black, 8GB iPhone 3G and a third-gen iPod nano. I run a dual-boot system on my Acer TravelMate 6291. On most days, I use Ubuntu Linux (9.10 Karmic Koala). However, I switch to Windows from time to time to update my podcasts and manage my phone and iPod using iTunes.
I consider myself an imperfect environmental activist. I am affiliated with the Philippine National Red Cross as a Red Cross Youth member.

About the blog
I’ve been blogging for about three years now. In fact, my first blog still stands today. I created Deantastic! in May of 2008. It was originally a blog about technology and the Web, but I later converted it to the personal blog you see today. The content that appears here is a mishmash of pop culture, political news and opinion, and updates on my personal life.
If you don’t want to keep visiting my corner of cyberspace but still want to receive blog post updates from me, then I hope you will subscribe to my feed from your favorite RSS reader. Alternatively, you can also choose to have new blog posts from my blog delivered to your email address. Just enter your email adress below:
